EyeCon Twilight to Offer “Twilight Tattoos” at the Convention

Published by dreadpiraterose at 4:37 am under Convention Info Edit This

Jackson Rathbone gets a tattoo at EyeCon Twilight (photo from www.newmoonmovie.org)I really should create a post category called “couldn’t make this shit up if I tried” - because this latest Twilight convention news would make an ideal entry for it. EyeCon Twilight, the same Florida convention that booked the hand model from the Twilight book covers as a convention guest, has also booked Tattoo artist Marc Draven as a guest for their September con. It seems Draven did a tattoo for Twilight “star” Jackson Rathbone, which EyeCon wants everyone to know about.

From the EyeCon website (misspellings and all): “Reknowned tattoo artist Marc Draven will be setting up and tattooing on-site with Twilight themed tats. […] Get a tattoo from the artist Jackson got one from!”

I can see it now: a huge line of barely legal Twilight fans getting “I love Edward Cullen” tattooed on their asses, or better yet, Cullen family crest tramp stamps.

And this won’t be Draven’s first appearance at this con. The Rathbone tattoo mentioned on EyeCon’s website was apparently done at a previous EyeCon convention. According to NewMoonMovie.org, “Jackson had the EyeCon Tattoo Artist give him a second tattoo. I heard that it was a heart (maybe on his back) and perhaps said, ‘I Love Mom.’”

I guess it could be worse. And besides, I’m sure the tattoo removal businesses in Florida will be thanking EyeCon for giving them so many clients in about a decade, when all these teens become adults and their fiances demand to know who the hell Edward is.
