News Blurbs: Deborah Fourzan Found ALIVE

Published by dreadpiraterose at 6:51 am under Convention News Blurbs Edit This

I have wonderful news to report: Deborah Fourzan, the 14-year-old anime fan who went missing at the beginning of February has been found in Washington state and she is alive. Her abductor, Jim Reimer, was taken into custody.

Thanks to everyone who posted supportive messages, especially the anime community, who posted the info like crazy on all of the anime convention forums.

According to a local Oklahoma news source:

Washington State Police spokesperson Krista Hedstrom said Reimer was pulled over for a lane violation. A trooper conducted a field sobriety test and let Reimer back in his vehicle. When the trooper called in his information, they discovered Reimer’s warrant.

You can see the official “she’s been recovered” message here, at America’s Most Wanted.

HOLY CRAP!! I didn’t know a relative of mine had been kidnapped!!!
I’m from Chihuahua, Mexico and was just googleing my last name to see what I could find, and found that some girl with my last name (wich is very rare) had been kidnapped and recently found ALIVE!! I don’t know her and it’s not my direct relative but still she has the same last name as me, so, I’m very very happy that she was found alive.
Relative or not, thanks to every one who cared about her, after all she’s an innocent human.

Greetings from south of the border =]
