The Hottest Girls and Guys of Cosplay?
I’ve seen a lot of really attractive cosplayers in my time doing this blog. Traci Hines and Toby Markham immediately come to mind. There are actually communities and sites dedicated to hot convention going girls and guys, or just hot nerds in general.
So, I’ve decided to hold a little contest here at the Convention Fans blog. I want YOU, my loyal readers, to nominate your fellow costume wearing con goers for the title of “Hottest Cosplayer.”
Here’s how this will work:
1. To nominate, post a comment to this entry with a link to a cosplayer’s picture, and (if you can) a link to the person’s Cosplay.com/MySpace /Facebook/website/blog/whatever.
2. Nominees can be cosplayers from ANY genre (anime, Trek, Star Wars, video games, Xena, comic books, etc.).
3. Nominate as many cosplayers as you like! Nominate yourself!
4. Nominations will end two weeks from now (February 26th, 2009) at midnight Eastern time. The five male and female cosplayers with the most nominations will make it onto the final poll for public voting.
5. A poll will go up once the nominations have closed, and you’ll be allowed to place ONE vote for Hottest Male Cosplayer, and ONE vote for Hottest Female Cosplayer (tracked by IP address). Voting will run for a week.
6. The winner for each gender will have the undying adoration of my thousands of readers. Winners will also get a nice graphic “award” to display on their webpage/profile, stating their hottness to the entire Internet. And if they’re willing (and I haven’t already), I’ll sit down and do an interview with them for the blog.
Okay then, let the nominations begin! (Note: All comments get approved by me before posting to limit spam, so don’t worry, I got your comment!)
